Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 16 meters northwest of the porch in the churchyard of the Church of the Holy Cross. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded capping and heavy bolstered ends that include a carved centerpiece. There are large rectangular panels on the north and south sides, but the inscriptions have been obliterated. At the time of the survey in August 1984, the tomb was partially overgrown and was sinking significantly to the north.
