Description
The stable block and domestic quarters, located 40 yards north-east of Eyford Park, were built around the 1920s by E Guy Dawbar. The structure is made of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a hipped slate roof topped with a bellcote. It has wooden modillions at the eaves and two irregular chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of three, one, and three, featuring pivoted casements with glazing bars.
A central semi-circular arched entry is complemented by a small two-light casement above it, and there are panelled wooden gates that ramp down to the center. On either side of the entry are semi-circular arched doorways with flush-framed doors. The carriageway leads into a square courtyard, which includes a five-bay arcade for garages on the north side and end archways that connect to the flanking wings.
