Gentleman-farmer residence. Mid C19. Ashlar with long flat modillions to cornice, blocking course to pyramidal slate roof; 2 ashlar chimneys flanking a 3 light dormer. 2 storeys, 3 bays with slight central break, glazing bar sashes, outer on ground floor tripartite. Central pedimented doorcase, architrave to traceried transom light; 6 panel door. Single storey C20 extension to right. 4 bay returns east and west with moulded cornice. Late C19 extension to north built over basement. Interior: ground floor room to south corner has magnificent c.1900 marble baroque fireplace, the north corner room has a smaller carved baroque style fireplace.
