Description

The cottages at Lower Farm are a pair of buildings dating back to the 17th century, significantly remodelled in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of rubble with a concrete roof imitating the traditional Cotswold style. The end chimneys feature brick upper parts, with the chimney on the left having a projecting stack. The cottages are two storeys high and have two windows on the front elevation. Most of the windows are segment-headed casements, although the ground floor window on the left side retains a three-light mullion window. A 20th-century lean-to projection at the front incorporates a pair of doorways.
