Description
The Bridges is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one building. They originated in the early 18th century but were expanded in the mid-19th century and early 20th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble with roofs of Cotswold stone. The building is divided into two parts. The left side has one and a half storeys with two gabled sections of uneven depth; the left gable is from the mid-19th century, and there is a gabled dormer to the left above a lean-to porch. The right side is set forward and features two gables above first-floor windows, with a total of two storeys and mullioned windows containing three and four lights. Access is from the gable of the parallel range. At the rear, the left cottage has an early 18th-century two-light mullion window and a blocked stairlight. The interior has been altered.
