Description

Eyford Lodge is a lodge built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a modillion cornice and blocking course on three sides. The building has a hipped slate roof with a central chimney and a square plan. It stands two storeys high and has two bays on the east side, with pivoted glazing bar casements. The central projecting porch is made of ashlar and has an arched doorway with a bracketed label above it. There is a painted tablet over the doorway that displays a heraldic device and the motto 'Finem Respice'. The return fronts consist of three bays with slight central breaks.
