Description
The boundary walls and gate piers to the carriage sweep north of Eyford Park were constructed around the 1920s and designed by architect E G Dawber. The walls are made of rubble dry-stone and feature moulded capping, standing approximately 4 to 5 feet high as they slope down towards the main entrance. This structure creates a D-plan enclosure. To the west, there are tall rubble gate piers that include a pulvinated frieze, cornice, and ball-finials. There are also smaller gate piers and an additional exit to the north leading to the garden. A minor narrow exit to the east includes steps that descend to a lower carriageway.
