Description
The Harrison and two Davis monuments are located about 8 meters south of the southeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints in Somerford Keynes. These three chest tombs are made of limestone and feature flat tops.
To the west is the Harrison/Taylor monument, which has the earliest decipherable date of 1845. It has a tall, moulded plinth and capping on the base, with a fluted frieze. The corners are quarter baluster, and there are two wreathed flat round panels on each side with a cherub head between them, along with beaded end panels.
To the east are the two Davis monuments. The first, for Daniel, who died in the 1740s, has moulded capping but no visible plinth, and features plain recessed panels on the sides and ends. The second, for John, who died in the 1790s, has a moulded plinth and capping, slightly indented corners, and plain sides and ends.
