The cross base and shaft, dating from the 14th century, are located in the churchyard approximately 6 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Michael and St Martin in Eastleach Martin. The structure is made of limestone and features a square sub-base with a chamfered top. It has a stopped square base that supports a circular shaft.
