Description

Keble's Bridge is a clapper bridge with medieval origins, located in Eastleach Turville. It features limestone rubble piers and slab bridging pieces, spanning five bays with short projecting abutments on the banks. One of the piers has a set of concrete-topped steps leading into the water. This early pedestrian bridge crosses the River Leach, connecting both halves of the village. It is named after the Keble family, who have been of local importance since the 16th century.
