Description
Bridge House is a detached house that was formerly two houses, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with 20th-century alterations to the rear. It is constructed of random rubble limestone, featuring ashlar chimneys and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has rear outshuts. The front facade has a four-window arrangement, with three-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements on the ground floor and two-light casements above. There is a small-paned casement in a former door opening to the left. The central doorway has a concrete lintel and a glazed door. Two ashlar chimneys with moulded caps are mounted on the ridgeline. The rear of the house features a central gabled projection flanked by outshuts, which appear to be largely from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
