Description
Churchend Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century, located on the north side of Church Street in Willersey. The building is constructed from coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, featuring flat gable coping and ashlar gable end stacks with moulded tops. It has two storeys and is designed with two windows. The cottage originally had three, 3-light windows with stone mullions, which have been replaced with wooden mullions that imitate flat-chamfered stone casements, now fitted with 20th-century metal windows that have horizontal glazing bars. There is also one 3-light window from the 19th century with glazing bars. Access to the cottage is through an extension at the back, which leads to a rear entrance with a six-panel door, where the upper panels have been replaced with glazing. There is a former warehouse attached to the left, which is now a kitchen, but it is not considered of special interest.
