Description
The former open-fronted shelter sheds at Broadmoor Farm have been converted into stables. They date from the late 18th century to early 19th century and are constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone with a stone slate roof. The building has a flat 'U'-shaped plan and originally featured 15 open bays that were divided by square stone-built piers. Timber cladding has been added, along with stable doors and top opening casements at the front of each bay. The gable ends are finished with flat coping.
