Description

Southayes Cottage is probably from the early 18th century. It is built of coursed rubble and has a roof that is partly modern and partly made of Cotswold stone. The cottage has two storeys and features one window on the ground floor, which is a 19th-century casement with an elliptical head and a re-used label as a cill below. Above this, there is a three-light stone mullioned casement. The entrance is a plain part-glazed door. The roof is steeply pitched, and there is a gabled extension at the rear, along with a mullioned window on the first floor to the right.
