Description

Reid Cottage is likely an 18th-century building that was raised in height and had its windows altered around 1830. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a late roof. The cottage has two storeys and an attic, with two windows that contain 16-pane sash frames. The central entrance has a part-glazed door, which is topped by a stone hood supported by brackets, and is framed by a moulded stone surround with a keystone. The attic floor seems to have been added later. The roof has a low pitch and includes two pedimented dormers.
