Description

The John Marchant monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard approximately 20 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. Dated 1742, it is made of limestone and features recessed bolstered side panels that are flanked by narrow pilaster strips. The tomb has a cyma moulded base and a cyma moulded top with moulded coping. It is inscribed to John Marchant, who died in 1742.
