Description

Oddfellows Row comprises a row of nine cottages dating to the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. They form a long, continuous block with a central, pedimented feature. Each cottage has two storeys and attics, with a single window to the front. The windows are casements with elliptical heads. The cottages have plain, elliptically headed doors, mostly glazed. Gabled dormers are present, and each house has a stone stack. Number 5 features the central gable, which is embellished with stone verges. Similar groups of Oddfellows’ houses are located at Moreton-in-the-Marsh.
