Description
The Vicarage is a large semi-detached house built in the early 19th century. It features a front made of coursed and dressed stone on a plinth, with quoins, while the sides are constructed from rubble stone. The house has a slate roof and stone end stacks with brick flues, along with two lateral brick stacks on the left, one at the front and one at the rear. The building has a single large range and a small rear extension to the right, forming an L-shape, and stands two storeys tall.
There are four windows on the front, which are 12-pane sashes set in flush stone surrounds, with a plat band between the floors. On the ground floor, there are two similar original windows, with a door located to the right of centre. This door is in a round-arched stone surround and features a decorative radial fanlight above it, along with a door made up of six flush panels. On the far left, there is a new 12-pane sash window, with stonework surrounding it that matches the existing style, which has been inserted in a former throughway leading to the rear.
