Description
Walnut Tree Farm House is a former farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, which was restored in the late 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks, one of which has a moulded cornice. The building is a single range of two storeys and an attic, with a single-storey and attic extension to the right.
On the east side, there are two windows featuring 2-light hollow mould stone mullions with square hoodmoulds, and two 3-light windows on the ground floor. A central small paired wood casement window, located between the floor levels, likely originally lit a stairway. The house has one gabled dormer on the eaves with paired casements. There is a door located on the corner of the right-hand return. The west side includes two small dormers and renewed 3-light stone mullions. The interior has not been inspected.
