Description

  1. 5224 CHURCH STREET (west side) Vicarage wall (including wall to Little Glebe) and gates and gateway to north-west of Vicarage SP 1539 6/49 SP 1539 SW 9/49 II GV

  2. Early and mid C19. Extends from front of Vicarage (low and ashlar) to No 5 Cidermill Lane (rubble about 6-10 ft high). Slightly curved and angled in front of house; stepped up to north, curved to west along Cidermill Lane. Tall arched gateway to north-west of Vicarage with stepped gable, weathered coping and flanking gables; gate with open Gothic panels. Break in wall for gate to Little Glede (modern house not of special interest).
