Description
Upperfields Farmhouse is a late 17th century building that has been altered and extended. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble and features a slate roof with coped verges. The farmhouse is two storeys high with gable-lit attics. On the first floor, there are three modern windows, while the ground floor has two windows, which are of the 4 and 3 light mullioned type, with the right-hand window having a drip. A modern door is located in the centre of the ground floor. The west gable includes staggered single light windows for the stairs, each with cornices. There is a circa 1800 extension to the right, which is of similar height and has a stone roof, with two light mullioned windows flanking a plain door. Additionally, there is a further later extension with an open ground floor.
