Description

Nos. 2 and 3 Bourton Road are a pair of buildings dating to around 1840. They continue the style of No. 1 and the Old Bank but with slightly later detailing. The buildings are constructed of ashlar, with horizontal bands marking each floor level, and have a Welsh slate roof. They are three storeys high, with two windows on each floor. The windows are 16-panel sashes. The ground floor features canted bays with slender glazing bars flanking partly glazed doors, each topped with a radiating fanlight set within a plain arched surround. The top floor has eight-pane sashes. Chimneys rise from the ridge of the roof.
