Description
University Farmhouse is a 17th-century building dated 1678, located on the west side of High Street in Moreton-in-the-Marsh. The structure is made of coursed rubble and has a modern concrete tile roof. It features a long range that runs parallel to the street, which may consist of two buildings, with two bays on the left and three on the right. The farmhouse is two storeys tall, with three windows on the ground floor and five on the upper floor. The windows are a mix of two, three, and four light casements, some of which have been replaced, and all have dripmoulds. Above the left side, there are two small windows with a single dripmould. To the right of the entrance, there is a central 'feature' window above the door, both of which are 19th-century alterations. The doorway on the left is dated and features a frieze and cornice, along with a modern plank door. The building has stone roof verges, a single ashlar stack at each end, and a paired stack in the center.
