Description
This listing describes a group of four chest tombs located about 14 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints in Somerford Keynes. Two of the tombs are dedicated to the Hinton family and date from the mid to late 18th century. The other two are unidentified, likely from the early 18th century, and are probably also associated with the Hintons. All four tombs are made of limestone and feature flat tops. The two identified tombs to the west have moulded capping and sides that are divided into recessed panels. The two Hinton tombs have moulded plinths and capping, with one featuring recessed panels and the other having plain panels.
