Description

The ha-ha to the south of Westonbirt House was built between 1863 and 1870 by Lewis Vulliamy as part of his work on the house and garden for Robert Stayner Holford. This structure marks the southern boundary of the estate and is constructed of coursed and squared limestone with ashlar coping. The tall wall features bastions and extends from the southeast of the Italian Garden to the southeast of the southernmost point of the garden terraces south of Westonbirt House.
