Description
Haydon Mill is a building that dates back to the 17th century but has undergone significant alterations. It is one of four mills located on medieval sites in the parish. The structure has two storeys and an attic, constructed from rubble with a Bradstone roof. It features four modern gabled dormers and four irregular modern casement windows, with a central door. The eaves are adorned with wood modillions, and there are raised verges and ashlar chimneys. At the rear, there is a gabled stair-turret with a lunette window and a modern open-tread newel stair. Additionally, there is a flat-roofed extension at the back. The mill holds historical importance.
