Description
This milestone, located approximately 4 metres south of The Farmers Arms, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a cast iron plate. The plaque displays the raised letters "STOW 1/ CIREN'R 18/ BATH 51." This milestone is noted for being unusually large and well preserved.
