Description
Nether Swell Manor Farm Cottages are estate cottages built around 1902 to 1904, designed by architect E Guy Dawber. The cottages are constructed from coursed rubble and feature a Cotswold stone roof with four large ridge stacks. They are arranged symmetrically and consist of three cottages in the Cotswold style, each with one and a half storeys. The facade has a layout of one bay, one bay, two bays, one bay, and one bay, with mullioned windows that have two, three, and four lights, and drips at the ground floor. The doors are ledged, with the central door featuring an armorial cartouche above it. There are two central dormer gables and two gabled projections on either side, with roofs that sweep down over the outer doorways. The outer bays have attics that are lit from the return gables. The third cottage is now known as Conker.
