Description

Nos. 8 and 9, Wragg’s Row, are a pair of early 19th-century buildings located on the east side of Fosse Way. No. 9 may be somewhat later than No. 8. They are constructed of coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. Each building is two storeys high, with No. 8 featuring a single window and No. 9 having two. The windows are 2-light casements; No. 8 has modern metal windows on the ground floor, with small panes above. No. 8 has a central glazed door with a hood supported by brackets, while No. 9 features a central half-glazed door. The buildings are finished with ashlar end stacks that have weathered details.
