Description

Greystones is an 18th-century building located on the north-west side of High Street, Blockley, near Dovedale End. It is a two-and-a-half-story structure built of coursed and squared rubble with a stone slate roof featuring coped verges. The roof is punctuated by two gabled dormers. The building has ashlar detailing on the left chimney and brickwork on the right chimney. Originally, there were four windows; some may have had oak mullions on the first floor, while the ground and first floors featured casements linked by common lintels. A modern studded door is positioned to the right of the centre of the facade. A large rainwater hooper is centrally located, and a former sign-bracket is situated to its left. The interior has undergone alterations.
