House, now flats. Late C17/early C18. Coursed squared limestone with stone slate roof and stone right end stack. Three storeys and cellar; four-window range. Four two-light stone mullion-and-transom windows with C20 leaded lights in flat surrounds to first floor, three to right coated in cement render; four similar C20 two-light stone-mullion windows above. Ground floor has two similar two-light stone mullion-and-transom windows to ground floor, that to left coated in cement render. C20 part-glazed door in plain reveal to left; C19 part-glazed door with three flush panels and overlight in plain reveal to right. C18 iron grating to blocked cellar opening. Moulded string over first floor and wooden modillion eaves cornice.

INTERIOR has undergone major C20 alteration. Original roof construction with curved principals has later reinforcing and C20 room created inside it. Ground floor right is part of Old Court (qv), also part of wing behind; No.51 has a flying freehold over in front range and wing.
