Description

The Bottle Kiln, located on Chapel Street, is likely a rebuilding from the mid to late 19th century. It features a beehive structure with a flat stone supported by bricks on top of a vent. The kiln is constructed from tarred rubble and includes two flue pipes and a side entrance on the north side. It is marked as a limekiln on the county series Ordnance Survey map.
