Description
The Ferrebec monument is a chest tomb located about 2 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints in Somerford Keynes. It commemorates the Ferrebec family, with the earliest decipherable date being 1760. The tomb is made of limestone and is nearly square in shape. It features a moulded plinth and capping, a plain frieze, and indented corners. The ends have recessed arched panels, while the sides have square panels. Atop the tomb is a large chamfered cap with a small gadrooned finial.
