Description
The stableblock at Oddington House is a mid to late 19th-century structure built from coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, topped with a slate roof. It has an 'L' shaped plan and is a single storey with a hayloft located over the right-hand end. The central feature is a six-panel double door set in an original flat-chamfered surround. There is a plank pitching door on the upper right, a 20th-century garage door on the lower right, and a stable door on the far left. Additionally, there is a stable door in the right wall of the projecting wing on the left, and a 20th-century double opening in the gable end. The wall facing the garden features stone-mullioned cross windows with stopped hoods. An ornate weather vane sits atop a square stone finial at the right gable end, and the gable ends have flat coping. The interior has not been inspected.
