Description

This former sundial, located approximately 45 meters north-west of the west door of the Church of St Mary, dates from around 1700 to 1735 and has undergone later restorations. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a square cube topped with a pyramidal and ball capping on a cylindrical base. The sundial is supported by a chamfered shaft on a plinth. Before 1912, it was positioned on top of the churchyard cross.
