Description

The churchyard cross, located approximately 15 meters north-west of the west door of the Church of St Mary, dates from the 15th century or earlier, with a cross-gabled top added in the 19th century, possibly sculpted by W.H. Fry. It was restored in 1912 and is made of limestone. The cross features a heavy step on a base, a high plinth, and a chamfered shaft. The top is cross-gabled, and the eroded reliefs depict the Crucifixion, the Madonna, and two saints.
