Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St Lawrence, approximately 8 metres north of the chancel. It dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and a cartouche-like inscription panel at the west end. The north side has a large fielded panel without an inscription, flanked by fielded marginal panels. The south side has a similar arrangement of fielded panels, and there is also a fielded panel at the east end. The tomb is capped with a moulded margin and was largely covered in ivy during the last survey in April 1986.
