Description

Two headstones located approximately 2.5 meters northeast of the north-west corner of the Church of St Mary in Charlton Kings date from the late 17th century. They are made of limestone. The headstone for John ?, who died in 167-, features a rectangular inscription panel topped with a swan-neck pediment that has a central bow. The other headstone also has a rectangular shape and is adorned with a winged cherub head at the top and festoons on the sides.
