Description
The gate piers and garden wall, located immediately to the south-west of Great Bidlake, date from the 17th century. The gate piers are made of dressed granite, while the wall is constructed from stone rubble, featuring granite quoins and chamfered coping stones. The gate piers, situated towards the right-hand side and accessed from the house by granite steps, are tall, square, monolithic structures topped with coved cornice caps and ball finials set on tapering necks. The wall may be contemporary with the gate piers.
