Description
Larksworthy Cottages is a row of four cottages that may have originally been one house. They date from the 17th century, possibly with earlier origins, and were likely extended in the 18th century. The cottages have rendered cob walls and a thatched roof that is hipped to the left and gabled at the right end. There are axial brick and rendered stacks, along with a projecting rendered rubble stack at the right gable end. The exterior features two storeys and an asymmetrical front with six windows, which are all 20th-century 1, 2, and 3-light casements. There is a 20th-century glazed door in the recessed left-hand end, a 20th-century plank door towards the left-hand end, and another towards the right-hand end. The interiors were inaccessible at the time of the survey.
