Description
Court Green is a house, originally a farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, with possible origins in an earlier period. It is constructed of stone rubble walls, partly rendered, with some cob visible at the front, and has a pyramidal thatched roof. The house features two brick axial stacks, one on the right-hand side and one at the rear. The internal layout is a double-depth plan, with two rooms wide and a central passage. A wing is set back on the right-hand end. The front facade is regular, featuring three windows. It contains small-paned 3-light casement windows, with C19 windows on the first floor. A C19 canted bay window is present on the ground floor to the right, and a C20 casement window to the left. A C20 part-glazed door is situated at the centre, behind an open-fronted porch. The wing on the right-hand side is recessed from the front. The interior was inaccessible at the time of survey.
