Description
This cart shed, located approximately 50 meters south-south-east of Upcott Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century. It features rubble and cob walls and has a hipped corrugated iron roof. The structure has a rectangular open-fronted design with three bays, and it is a single storey high. The open front is divided by wooden posts, with a granite post at the left-hand end. Inside, the roof is made up of rough straight principals with collars that are slightly set in and pegged. This cart shed is part of a group that includes an important early farmhouse.
