Description

The Midland Bank, dated 1895, was originally built as the Constitutional Club. It features two to three storeys constructed from coursed rubble Hurdwick stone, with Bath stone dressings. The building has a hipped slate roof and includes two crow-stepped gables along with two pseudo timber-framed gables. A crenellated parapet adds to its character. The first floor has two balconies and one oriel window, while the corner of the building is marked by three three-centred arches.
