Description

This is an early 18th-century headstone located about 10 meters east of the south aisle of the Church of St John the Baptist. Made of slate, the round-headed headstone commemorates Elizabeth Mourton, who died in 1719. It features ornamental scrolls at the top and has elaborate initial letters in the inscription.
