Description

Nos 1 and 2 Taylor Square date from the early 19th century. They are two storeys in height. The ground floor is stuccoed, while the upper floors are now pebble-dashed. The building has a slate roof and a modillion cornice. There are three tripartite sash windows on each floor. A cornice separates the ground and first floors. The doorcases are flanked by pilasters, with rectangular fanlights above six-panelled doors. Curved granite steps lead up to the street.
