Description

Nos 23 to 26 on Ford Street, known as Ford Street Charity, is an 18th-century building that has been much restored. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high, featuring a central pediment above No 24, which has three casement windows. In total, there are nine windows across the façade. The entrance has a simple doorcase with rectangular fanlights. There is also a granite tablet, which is not contemporary, inscribed with "Ford Street Charity 1762".
