Description

No. 13 on Fore Street is a timber-framed building dating from around the 17th century, which was altered in the 19th century. The front is hung with Delabole slate, and it features a low-pitched slate roof with bracketed eaves. The building is three storeys high and consists of one bay. On the front, there are 19th-century two-light sash windows and a 19th-century shop front on the ground floor. To the right, there is a passageway that includes a timber bressumer inside. At the rear, modern slate hanging covers the timber framing. A large rendered chimney stack is located on the west side of the building, which is the left side when facing the front.
