Description

These stables, located about 30 meters northeast of Sydenham Barton, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed from local stone rubble and feature a hipped slate roof at both ends. The building has a symmetrical five-bay design, with a central entrance flanked by two windows on each side, all of which are set under segmental arches adorned with slate voussoirs and keystones. Above the central entrance, there is a loft entrance beneath a raking dormer that rises slightly above the eaves line. Inside, the original loose boxes and mangers remain intact.
