Description
Hollycombe Ford Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of plastered granite stone rubble, possibly with cob, and features stone rubble stacks topped with 20th-century bricks, all under a thatch roof. The cottage has a two-room plan with a central through passage and faces south. Each room is heated by a gable-end stack. It is two storeys high, with an irregular three-window front that includes 20th-century casements with glazing bars; the first-floor windows are half dormers. The doorway, located just left of centre, contains a 20th-century door behind a contemporary gabled porch that is also thatch-roofed. The interior has not been inspected.
