Description
This barn, located about 20 meters northwest of Cannonbarn Farmhouse, likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with some cob and features a hipped corrugated iron roof at both ends. The barn consists of two sections, with a threshing barn on the right-hand side that has entrances on opposite sides. The left-hand section has been used as a stable and includes a loft above it, which is slightly advanced compared to the other section. There is a large entrance on the front right, covered by a corrugated iron canopy supported by stone cheeks. On the left side of the front, there are blocked openings, including a two-light timber mullioned window. The left end features a doorway with a timber lintel and a small square window for the loft located under the eaves.
